To ensure school meals are safe for pupils with allergies and food intolerances, it is important that our lunch provider is fully aware of the details. Evidence of all food allergies and intolerances must be provided by parents, before pupils have a Taylor Shaw school lunch.
Parents, Guardians and Carers can now apply for a medical diet if their child has a diagnosed allergy, diagnosed intolerance or diagnosed medical condition requiring an adapted menu (e.g. type 1 diabetes)
You can apply for this through the LUNCHHOUND portal using the following link: https://orders.lunchhound.co.uk/medicaldiets/request

Did you know…just registering your child for Non-Universal, Free School Meals means that the school is given extra money which will benefit your child’s education?
Please register now to make sure we don’t miss out!
The government is allocating money to schools to help children from lower income families to achieve their potential and make the best possible progress. This funding is called 'Pupil Premium.'
For every child registered, Laughton All Saints' receives an amount of money to enrich a child's education and provide resources or individualised support, matched to their needs.
If your child is registered for Free School Meals, you could get help with paying for musical tuition and admission to some before and after-school clubs. School will receive a set amount, per child, per year, for the purchase of uniform or class visits. Please speak with our office staff for further information.
How does it work?
1. First check if you qualify. It is not just for parents who are unemployed, so please do check below for other eligibility criteria.
2. Registering is really quick and easy - if you think you qualify, go onto the RMBC website and search ' free school meals.' Applications can be completed online or forms can be downloaded from the website. Alternatively, you can collect an application from the school office.
3. If you would like your child to have a free, healthy meal at lunch-time, that's great - they will receive the free meal (a substantial saving throughout the year) and the school gets funding too!
4. If you don't wish your child to have the school meals, they can continue with packed lunches as usual - as long as you qualify and are registered, the school still receives the funding. No-one will know you are registered and it will not affect any other benefits that you may already be receiving.
You can register now, if you are receiving any of these benefits.
