Uniform
We believe that wearing uniform fosters a feeling of community and identity within our school. All children are expected to wear uniform every day - it helps them to feel fully part of the Laughton family!
Our uniform is as follows:
- Red jumper, cardigan or fleece (preferably with logo)
- Red or white shirts, blouses or polo shirts
- Grey or black skirts, trousers or shorts (no leggings)
- Sensible, black shoes which will not slip (no trainers)
- Grey, white or black socks or tights
- Red Gingham dress, shirt or shorts if preferred for summer wear
For PE:
- white T-shirt
- a pair of shorts
- trainers or plimsolls
Purchasing School Uniform

Items without logos can be purchased from any retailers or supermarkets.
The uniform is kept as simple and affordable as possible. If you need help with the cost of buying uniform, please visit the 'New 2 U' uniform shop or see Miss Birks.

We also run an alternative for parents to purchase pre-loved, quality uniform items at a cost that suits their affordability. Parents can visit the Google Form below, choose their items and pay an amount that they can afford. The initiative is ran by Kelly Mullen (Ben's Mum) who takes donations of clothes, washes and irons them and delivers orders in to school for our children. This is an environmentally friendly and purse friendly way of providing our children with uniform.
