Uniform

We believe that wearing uniform fosters a feeling of community and identity within our school. All children are expected to wear uniform every day - it helps them to feel fully part of the Laughton family!

 

Our uniform is as follows:

• Red jumper, cardigan or fleece (preferably with logo)
• Red or white shirts, blouses or polo shirts
• Grey or black knee-length skirts, trousers or shorts (no leggings)
• Sensible, black shoes which will not slip (no trainers)
• Grey, white or black socks or tights
• Red and white gingham dress or polo shirt and shorts, if preferred, for summer wear

For PE: (in a named bag)

• white t-shirt
• a pair of shorts
• trainers or plimsolls

Jewellery: a small pair of stud earrings may be worn but must be taken out or covered up with medical tape prior to P.E sessions. Necklaces/bangles/bracelets or other jewellery items should not be worn.

Items without logos can be purchased from many retailers or supermarkets.

Our school uniform is kept as simple and affordable as possible. If you need help with the cost of buying uniform, please get in touch with us. We have a selection of uniform items in school which to allow for a purse-friendly way of providing children with uniform.
