School Day and Timings

We know that every minute in school is vital for children, their learning and their future successes in life. Our school are at school a minimum of 32.5 hours a week (as statutory by law) and school day timings are outlined below:

Arrive at school	8:40 – 8:45am
Morning work / Reading	8:45 – 8:55am
Register	8:55am
Collective Worship	9:00 – 9:15am
Lesson 1 – Phonics and English	9:15 – 10:15am
Lesson 2 – Reading	10:15 – 10:45am
Playtime	10:45 – 11:00am
Lesson 3 - Maths	11:00 – 12:00pm
Lunchtime	12:00 – 1:00pm
RWI Spelling / Handwriting	1:00 – 1:15pm
Afternoon Lessons	1:15 – 3:05pm
Story Time	3:05 – 3:15pm
Prepare for home	3:15 – 3:20pm
End of Day – collection in playground	Infants – 3:20pm Juniors – 3:25pm

EYFS and Infants – 32 hrs 55 minutes

Juniors – 33 hrs 20 minutes
